The Health and Human Services was established as a program facet during the 2010 National Assembly in response to the chronic health disparities that persists in our communities, which ultimately result in the decreased life expectancy of African Americans.  The Central Area’s Health and Human Services facet will focus on Women’s Health issues, childhood obesity and mental health.
Through the implementation of transformational programming agencies, health care facilities and individuals will be given the opportunity to implement sustainable services that will provide supports designed as a mechanism to successfully assist women, particularly women of color, in identifying and impacting their health care needs.
